Master Class with Jeff Satinoff

American Midwest Ballet is proud to offer a special master class by one of the country’s foremost dancers and teachers, Jeff Satinoff.
Due to class size, pre-registration by email at education@balletnebraska.org is strongly encouraged. Include dancer’s name, age, level of experience and current dance school.


Jeff Satinoff made his professional debut at San Francisco Ballet. His training includes Pennsylvania Ballet, San Francisco Ballet and North Carolina School of the Arts.
He danced principal roles with North Carolina Dance Theatre in numerous classical ballets and works by renowned choreographers Agnes De Mille and Alvin Ailey. Mr. Satinoff joined Eliot Feld Ballet in 1974 where he danced for ten years as a principal dancer, taught company class and was involved with Feld’s own New Ballet School.
Mr. Satinoff also served as artistic director at Dancesouth in Charleston, SC and Lake Erie Ballet in Erie, PA.
A prolific choreographer, Mr. Satinoff has created more than 40 ballets for professional ballet companies and schools across the USA — including School of American Ballet, Juilliard Dance Ensemble, Hartford Ballet, Ballet Hispanico, Dayton Ballet, Ballet Memphis and Los Angeles Dance Alliance among others.
Satinoff  is Dean of Dance at the A.W.Dreyfoos School of the Arts and the 2011 recipient of the Arts Education Professional leadership award from the Florida Alliance for Arts Education.
